You know that you have grown older when
• In the Saraswathi Puja, your cheque books and files replace books and note books
• You start waiting for the beginning of month instead of term holidays and summer holidays
• You look at that young adolescent couple on the road with the eyes of a veteran chuckling to yourself, “Kids!”
• You work towards project deadlines during weekends rather than doing homework
• You start keeping track of the amount of money you earn instead of the CGPA you get
• You do not look forward to your birthday anymore ‘cos not withstanding all those celebrations you are growing OLDER BY A YEAR
You know that you have not grown up when
• You look forward to every festivity solely because of all those sweets you will get to eat
• You still get up at 11 in the morning on a lazy Sunday afternoon with not a worry in the world
• You discuss that handsome guy on the road with your childhood friend with the same excitement you had as an adolescent
• Your mom still packs lunch in the same lunch box to office that you took to college
• You still fight with your friends over silly, trivial issues like “Why did you not call me back that day”
• You still look forward to your birthday not withstanding that older by a year part ‘cos of the rich chocolate cake you are going to eat
• In the Saraswathi Puja, your cheque books and files replace books and note books

hehe.. never knew a tagline cud result in a blog so wonderful..
According to u, ive grown old bcoz-
1. i didnt argue or fite with u as to y u didnt ping me back last saturday, whereas u urself came forward with a reasoning
2. i dont carry lunch boxes anymore
3. i m not looking frwrd to festivals too as here ther r none
but yes i hv my own reasons fr feeling young at heart and not growing up/old too coz:
1. i can still sleep early and rise late
2. i dont care abt deadlines on holidays
3. i can ping u a hundred times w/o expecting a response in return :D
@jags: You still keep pulling my leg and teasing me like you are a kid only. I too dont think you have grown up though of course you have grown older :)
Jagdish Mohan, I would really like to meet you. I think you are one of the few people alive in this world older than me :P
Shreya Prakahsh.. i want to know what that statement means? :D
Jagz boy! cool it! She will reply when she sees :) Or should I like call ehr up or send her an SMS and ask her what precisely she meant by that statement and that jagz is all restless' cos of it? :D
Kams,, i donnno how the same comment got published twice.. not tht im desperate but yes definitely eager to know :)
Everyone I meet nowadays is older than me, I have reached a a most infuriating stage in life :) It would be nice to meet you because a) You are older - I know for a fact b) generally ;)
Shreya prakash, if ur actually tired n sick of meeting old and older people, i guess i shud not risk my happiness n merry state of affairs,; atleast i wud nt like to remind myself that I am Actually very OLD. :) Got it..
If only casually, then yeah sure :)
That was a typo. I meant, everyone I meet nowadays is younger than me. And that was meant to be such a merry comment. Now it has gone and pissed you off. What can I say - I must be getting old ;)
na na.. no need to take offence.
Im not so easily pissed off :)
Im still in a merry mood n hav taken ur comments also merrily.
Proof that u r not as old as u think u r !! :)
Cant help it if the world perceives u so :P
The world perceives me as old??!! U certainly are not getting more charming with age, as the adage goes :P
i dont recall myself as being charming ever till date.. but yes cannot and will not cause hurt/injury to ny1 just becoz he/she is getting older or less charming.
U r certainly still very young and still very charming. :)
I beg mercy, plsss mujhe maaf kar do
Tongue-in-cheek Sir, but accepted. I wave the white flag ;)
The still very young and still very charming shreya praks has accepted! Jags will be a happy man today :)
Btw, yes, ms.prakash, u r definitely a charming woman!
thats nice happy ending..
ThanQs Miss Praks (Pranks)
n ThanQs to Miss Kam as well for having facilitated this discussion to a meaningful and happy conclusion.
most welcome mr.jags! btw, u guys have been talking as if you are some 50-60 years old! while you are still in the prime of your 20s!
For me, list #2 has more relevance than list #1 , except for chuckling at adolescent kids and going 'Kids!' :-P
@teal: :-) Long time! how are you doing?
